Jake Dieli is a Brooklyn-based composer creating original music for film, animation, and trailers. His work spans indie animation projects like Dungeon Flippers, award-winning short films such as Bris Me Goodbye, and high-end trailer and television music featured on networks including ABC and NBC.
His scores have screened at festivals including SeriesFest, Dances With Films, and the Big Apple Film Festival, amongst others.
Jake works closely with directors, editors, and producers to build scores that serve story first. His music blends hybrid orchestral textures with detailed sound design, bringing a cinematic edge that feels modern, emotional, and grounded in narrative. His background in music production and orchestration has shaped a strong sense of pacing, impact, and storytelling through sound.
A graduate of NYU’s film scoring program and winner of the 2022 NYU Film Scoring Competition, Jake approaches each project as an opportunity to explore new sonic worlds and find the musical language that best supports the film’s voice.
